The Primary roles for the Water Rescue Teams are for operational use in Flooding and Search and Recovery Operations. They are also used on a regular basis at events, such as firework festivals or concerts, where there would be large numbers of people near the water, or at events like the Tall Ships, Flight Fest, and Sea Swims for Swim Ireland.
