Dublin Civil Defence was this weekend involved in a joint missing person search operation with the Irish Coast Guard Howth unit.
Teams were out over the weekend from first light conducting shore line searches and were assisted by the Dublin Civil Defence K9 unit. Volunteers from Dublin Civil Defence formed joint search teams with Irish Coast Guard personnel from Howth, Dun Laoghaire and Skerries. Early on Sunday morning the body was located and recovered by an IRCG boat and DCD personnel to the Howth Marina.
Both agencies operated very well together in combined search teams.
